Am I required to accept Section 8 tenants?
Yes, per local laws we can not discriminate against “Income Source” so if an otherwise qualified applicant is using a voucher to pay their rent we are required to accept them as a tenant. -
Are you a licensed property management company?
Yes. Ivy Property Management is fully licensed and adheres to all industry regulations and professional standards. Also, all employees are licensed and have the appropriate licensure/training that is mandated by the jurisdiction of service. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Yes. We offer an emergency contact line for urgent situations. Routine inquiries are handled during business hours. -
Can you deposit rent directly into my bank account?
Absolutely. We offer direct deposit for all owner disbursements, ensuring timely and secure fund transfers. -
Do I get to review or sign the lease?
Owners are welcome to review lease agreements. Ivy Property Management handles lease execution on your behalf unless otherwise requested. -
Do you also offer real estate sales services?
Yes. In addition to property management, we can assist with buying or selling real estate since our Owner is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington, DC; Maryland and Virginia. -
When and how do I receive my rental income?
Owner payments are processed after rent collection and any expenses are deducted—usually via direct deposit or mailed check on a regular disbursement schedule. -
How is rent collected from tenants?
We offer several rent payment options, including a secure online portal. Late payments are managed per the terms of the lease agreement.
